Kingston’s latest flash drive has a USB-C connection and record-breaking speed

Kingston announced that its new high-performance USB-C flash drive DataTraveler Max is now available.

DataTraveler Max (DT Max) is one of the fastest USB drives on the market, with read speeds of up to 1000 Mbps and write speeds of up to 900 Mbps.

According to Kingston, the company considered portability and convenience when designing DT Max. However, the flash drive also has a unique ridged housing that protects its USB-C connector when not in use and can be easily moved.

Carissa Blegen, Kingston’s flash memory product manager, provided more details about DT Max in the press release. She said:

"DT Max provides industry-leading speed and unparalleled storage space, enabling consumers to create and keep up with today's content needs. We provide unparalleled performance that customers are familiar with and expect. Through this release, we are proud to be able to provide USB- C flash drives set a new standard."

Kingston DT Max flash drives adopt the latest USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard, which can provide record-breaking performance in terms of read and write speed.

In addition to the convenient one-handed sliding cover, the device has an LED status indicator that allows you to read or write data now, and a practical keychain ring so it can be easily hung on the laptop bag .

DT Max is compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS, and provides three storage capacities. Interested users can choose Kingston’s latest 256GB, 512GB or 1TB flash drives. The device also comes with a five-year warranty and free technical support in case you encounter any problems.

Even if you use a cloud storage service to store your files online, having a hard copy of the most important data you can take with you can help you work anywhere.
